The owner, being an engineer had exact, specific drawings for this entry. The wall on the left goes down about five feet below

the ground, as a footing. There's hay underneath the steps with plywood to create a lighter, hollow space. The window on the

bottom left had a hammer go thru it. As you might have guessed, this work is nothing like sitting there knitting in an easy chair.
