This particular pour didn't come out as anticipated. I had just finished hard troweling the slab nice and smooth. It wasn't
supposed to rain, but it did...and only in this North Shoreline neighborhood...and it rained hard. We didn't have plastic
on hand to ease the beating, so it got a rough exposed, or Hawaiian finish they call it. The customer was cool about it.
He understood it wasn't my fault, but of course I came back to resurface the slab; only this time it had a broomed finish.
